Our Company
Kai Management Group is an investment manager based in New York City. The firm was founded in 2010 by Joe G. Daher, who serves as portfolio manager.

Our aim is to outperform the market by investing in a well-balanced portfolio of companies that have durable and sustainable competitive advantages and avoid (or short) those that don’t. We aim to purchase these companies at prices that provide an acceptable margin of safety and we are driven by a rigorous bottom up investment process.

Joe Daher
Portfolio Manager
Joe, the founder of Kai Management Group, currently serves as the portfolio manager for the firm. Joe brings more than 25 years of investment experience and currently sits on the board of one of the Middle East’s largest retail groups, the Azadea Group.
Previously, from July 1999 to January 2008, he was a Senior Vice President and Financial Consultant for Smith Barney.
Prior to that, from 1993 to 1999, Mr. Daher was a Senior Vice President for Fidelity Investments. He received a B.B.A Degree in Finance from the University of North Texas in 1992.

Pablo Orozco
Associate
Pablo is currently an Associate at Kai Management Group, where his responsibilities include analyzing investment opportunities and performing primary fundamental research. Prior to joining Kai, Pablo was a Research Analyst at a family office in Canada covering North American public equities in a generalist capacity. Previously, he spent five years performing equity research on the sell-side, first with CIBC Capital Markets and later with RBC Capital Markets. Pablo earned his Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta and is an alumnus of the Program for Research and Investment Management Excellence (PRIME).
