Kai Management Group is an investment manager based in New York City. The firm was founded in 2010 by Joe G. Daher, who serves as a co-portfolio manager alongside Daniel Abood. Together, Joe and Daniel oversee all investment activity and bring more than five decades of combined investing experience.

Joe, the founder of Kai Management Group, currently serves as a co-portfolio manager for the firm. Joe brings more than 25 years of investment experience and currently sits on the board of one of the Middle East’s largest retail groups, the Azadea Group.
Previously, from July 1999 to January 2008, he was a Senior Vice President and Financial Consultant for Smith Barney.
Prior to that, from 1993 to 1999, Mr. Daher was a Senior Vice President for Fidelity Investments. He received a B.B.A Degree in Finance from the University of North Texas in 1992.
Daniel joined Kai Management Group in 2020 as a co-portfolio manager. From 2012-2019 he served as Head of Investments for ADS Holding. At this Abu Dhabi based investment firm, he directed the company’s global investment policy, due diligence, research, and monitoring activities across various investments and industries.
Prior to joining ADS, Mr. Abood was a lead analyst for a research JV between RBS and Rasmala. In his role as Senior Analyst, Mr. Abood was responsible for initiating coverage and continuing research on regional logistics, energy, and other special situation securities.
Previously, Mr. Abood played a key role in setting up the MENA region’s first public equities hedge fund at Abraaj Capital. There he served as a generalist responsible for covering various securities and geographies. He earned his Finance & Economics Degree from the University of Western Sydney in Australia.
